"Shanks became Yonko after losing an arm. That means he has other powers"
What is this based on? Nothing. Shanks has probably the strongest Haki out of the Yonko, and even with one arm, his sword is powerful and deadly (databook: "even with one arm, his power is over whelming).
Yes. Losing an arm nerfed Shanks. He adapted to that one arm but still isn't quite on the level he would be with both arms. But that still is enough to be Yonko level.
Remember that swordsmanship is one of the strongest powers in One Piece, and Shanks is one of the strongest Haki users, most likely the strongest Haki user among the Yonko, with internal destruction Haki and FS. No gun or kick is going to compensate for his swordsmanship.
