However, this chapter added some more info about Venus capabilities. Him being from Wano has been theorized for a long time as well as him having Shodai Kitetsu. What this chapter alludes to I think is that he follows the same swordsmanship technique that people of Wano do. The use of BoAT. Idk if this is correct but BoAT seems different from just haki. We get his inner thoughts of sensing living things and coupled with Bonneys comment that he can cut anything, it seems that he has mastered BoAT.
So we all know that Mihawk is the WSS, the question then becomes who is the 2nd strongest swordsman. I think Venus having ACoC is very likely, all the Gorosei probably have CoC as well as ACoC.
Shanks, Venus, Zoro, Fujitora I think these four are the next strongest swordsmen.
Personally I would rank Shanks above or equal to Venus for now and Zoro just below Venus as he will need to surpass him during their battle.
