This is a response to anyone who believes Momo should join the crew so that he can grow to learn to be a Shogun. And so Hiyori would just TEMPORARILY take up the Shogunate as a gesture to "female empowerment" or whatever.
The first problem NO ONE has talked about is that the series ends in a few months. I'm saying the actual one piece is going to be found in a few months in the story. And so Momo will have joined the crew to get "training" to be a proper Shogun for a few months and then he'll most likely STILL return to Wano as a little kid. So what was the point then?
And secondly, shouldn't Hiyori just be the ACTUAL Shogun then? If this is a "female empowerment" thing then why the hell should Hiyori be a bench warmer for Momo? Shouldn't Hiyori just be the permanent shogun then, and give birth to kids who she trains to be Shogun and gives them the position and her family line forever remains the main family line? That's true "female empowerment". Momo is unfit to lead so Hiyori becomes the actual heir whose bloodline becomes the actual main one.
Like even if Momo returns after a few months or even a few years somehow or even 20 years, why the hell should he automatically just usurp the throne from Hiyori and hrr bloodline again. Just because he's a man? Well fuck that then. That's not "female empowerment" at all is it?
For the people who want Momo to join the crew, just say Momo abdicates the throne. Momo can join just for the sake of following in his father's footsteps. That way when the journey ends in a few months, even he would have his little dream accomplished along with the rest of the crew and then he returns to Wano as just a royal prince, never to lay claim to the throne unless Hiyori never has kids or her kids suck. And that's it.
The whole FAKE "female empowerment" is just cringy as hell. Stop using that as an argument.
