Who said No One found Ancient Ruins Underwater? lol
They are shown in Jinbe's Cover Story for example

But who would be able to Discover that entire Continents sank?
It's a World where there are DF Powers & Crazy Weather, so People won't be Shocked if they hear there is a Ruin or Two underwater
But to say Majority of Land was lost Underwater, that's a Claim that no one can make by simply diving lol

So Law and his crew couldn't see a thing nor give us some hints of continental ruins under the sea

Pirates are diving deep to sail to Fishmen island and enter NW or go back to Paradise, none ever saw any ancient ruin that's supposed to be only 200m deep down

Only Jinbei ended up seeing some ancient ruins weeks before Onigashima raid and even then he didn't tell SHs (well, this crew is a fake crew where they don't tell much about what they find or where they're from, they didnt even know Luffy's real dream because he never told them before Wano)

So nobody could tell,
No one...could imagine continental ruins were under the sea despite diving deep...they never saw anything bar sea Kings

it means that if you diminish the sea level of 200m you can see the swallowed continents back no ?

It depends on what caused the sea rise.


If events like expansion of sea water (global warming) or melting of ice then sure


But in case of events like subsidence of continental floor/rise of sea floor due to shift in the crust then 200 mtrs isn't the threshold anymore. It might go deeper than this

Also unrelated but I haven't seen anyone talk about Impel Down, it was clearly built before the flooding imo, it's literally an upright building starting from the sea floor.

If the islands we see now are just the leftovers of the continents that sank, then i'll take it as these islands are the tips of those sunken continents, no way no one saw the humongous structures just below the surface UNLESS the islands and continents are not physically connected which makes it even more absurd.

So, what if ancient people made construction to stop flooding like in case of wano.


But, water level rose so much that everything went under water except for higher elevated regions which forms present day islands.


In this scenario, seeing huge wall of landmass rather than buildings make it more likely scenario.

People did see it but thought it's a natural occurence coz big theme of VP broadcast is its Man made

95% (edit: according to some sources it's 95 but others more conservatively say at least 80) actually, and One Piece's world is considerably larger than ours.
