Akainu mid diff, akainu can actually be hurt by this luffy. Kaido the only being u need top tier CoA to “just hurt”.

Akainu vs act 1 Luffy -> One Piece is already over because while Luffy was knocked out after that Bagua, he wouldn't have a head in this scenario, had Akainu been the one to connect the hit.
Akainu vs scabbards ->They get destroyed and they all either die or are pretty much put in a death bed with a hole in their body. I doubt they will even connect a hit on him. The scabbards were lucky that Kaido stayed in his dragon form so long.
Akainu and Big Mom against the novas-> Once again, these 5 are screwed. And the thing with Akainu is that, again, even casual magma punches are potentially lethal.
Akainu vs Luffy on the rooftop -> Luffy obviously loses. One of the differences with Kaido is that in this scenario Luffy would fall in the sea without a head, just like in the first scenario.
Akainu's powers are simply terrifying to deal with, both in a 1 vs 1 scenario or in a group scenario. It's not about Akainu vs Kaido as a whole, even though I think Akainu is stronger regardless.

Then defeats scabbards midd diff though even one attack will do more damage to him......
After that its tricky........akainu unlike kaido will take much more damage and swords attacks like ashura are very lethal same goes for killer's attack which completely igmores dura.......akainu do have lethality on his side and uses more aoe attacks compared to kaido (he only used beam attack i.e. hakai once) so that is an advantage but still luffy with adv coa can block it and law as usual will shift the straw hats saving them from magma........
Akainu vs luffy with adv coc+coa is also tricky luffy has barrier so he will be safe from magma but dai funka also has good force behind it..........not taking akainu's awakening into account he wins high diff...........
I am assuming akainu will also tank attacks but I am not sure..........adv coa g4 gatling and ashura are very powerful attacks........
Edit - Now that I am thinking law could teleport luffy or zoro near akainu and both of them can land lethal attacks on him.......akainu will have harder time compared to kaido it seems........

Akainu would have killed Luffy at act 1. Scabbard while they were at Rooftop. Then he would die to Zoro at Supernova fight. Maybe killing Kid and Killer in the process(Luffy already dead remember?).
And we wouldn't have another Akainu vs Luffy because he is already dead since act 1 remember?
In fact without Luffy we aren't having Strawhats at the raid probably. So Akainu would kill all 4 Supernova and every pirate over there except for BM and maybe Marco.
