So first scene, im tearing apart is the one where robot woman is ripped apart and killed.
Mt problem with the scene itself would be it expresses nothing, What's the point? Violence for the sake thereof rubbish
Even the amon special from the devilman series bothers with narrative for it's gruesome violence like when amon shows up and kills some people brutally like he bites some kid's head off.
The point of the scene was to show how he was evil and his overwhelming power something that gets displayed after the fact aswell where he fights some other demon
There's another story about a girl losing her cat and endimg up in some badly coded area where some dudes arrest her with no punishments.
Makes zero sense so her cat yuki gets lost and goes there despite being an ai fpr the matrix why would some program loyal to the machines lead a girl there?
If your going to have the cat get lost at least give some reasoning even something like digimon gives reason for stuff like this
Take agumon running off who in the first movie had animal level intelligence anycase being it runs off with the express purpose of fighting parrotmon and taichi has to find him as his parents will get mad if they find out hikari has gone missing.
Not hard to do scenes like this but animatrix has no writing
We get another mini segment about the case of this girl and a guy named duo who wants her to join him to go back in the matrix
It's revealed as a standard test to decide loyalty yet neo never had that done guess plot holes are just what this flim is for
This segment has like a japanese style visual. For some reason

Look at at avatar and it's asian visuals. It's not just a assestic as the way the bending in the show is done would be based directly on asian martial arts and philosophy so yea indefensible to have visuals without some reason behind it
