Theory The demon with the sun in his hands was Teach’s ancestor

About the mural

A lot of people think the guy on the left is Imu. I’m not so sure. Imu does have a monsterous DF. But what about the sun in his hands? Imu didn’t have the mother flame until very recently.

I suppose it is possible that Imu once had the mother flame and then lost it due to Joyboy. But there is another possibility.

What if the figure on the left depicts an individual using multiple DFs?

Ace’s ultimate move allowed him to create a Sun in his hands, much like the one held by the demon in the mural.

We know Teach is of a special lineage. What if the figure in the mural was his ancestor? Someone who held the mera mera no mi, the yami yami no mi, and Imu’s fruit?

Joyboy succeeded in killing this threat, but Imu subsequently killed Joyboy via trickery. He took the demon fruit and made himself a God. This was why Imu held Teach’s picture as well as Luffy’s. He knows the type of threat Teach poses.
