Hi Worstgen,
I believe there is a simple theme going on with One Piece....
It's as simple as this- Once all the main players are in place, the action snowballs.
- This has already happened.
- The only people left to add to the puzzle are extreme outliers like Urouge
The fun parts of One Piece are gone
- We have begun to snowball, which means that the fun adventurous parts are being sidelined for the plot development parts involving war and an ultimate turn of events.
It was fun back before the Grand Line when there was a lot of mystery to the story, but in the most recent chapters it is becoming like almost every crappy game we ever played when we were kids- genius scientist, ancient technology, some "godlike" being entering the world, uprising in the world, and so on. It sounds like a pokemon game.
The final chapters of One Piece aren't going to be as fun as we expect them to be. We should be happy Goofy is trying to lighten things up.
