I remember when I, @Erkan12 and some users were calling Viz out or saying ViZ isn't the gospel of translations... they exaggerate or translate like they want.
But yeah, they kept spamming ViZ and used it as the ultimate truth for Arena and Discussions threads
Stephen Paul knows best and whate Viz says is camon coz they work with Shuiesha.
Now look at what Wano has been creatting...
You guys should stop using ViZ as the gospel then bash it coz Zoro didn't feel wanked enough.
Always take translations with a grain of salt!
Most translators even translate stuff based on their biased spirit.
so when is ViZ canon with no external contents needed?
Only when It wanks Zoro? Or trashes Sanji?
I don't care but from now on, nobody should think using ViZ makes your argument true.
What matters is context on how Oda writes characters and events.

A few things:
- We use other sources for the early translations because ViZ didnt have credible and competent English translators. This is not true anymore as Stephen is the official translator. So its entirely different if we dish out another translation now.
- As far as I know, Japanese doesn't translate to English well. So a translator might add his own flavor to make the translation interesting rather than translating word-by-word. You surely remember the famous "legends among men" quote in SBS, when Sandman says there is no "legend" word mentioned. But thats not only done by Stephen Paul. Let me give you another example from Cnet128. He translated Luffy's quote in chapter 798, "Whether it’s a Marine Admiral... / ...or even a Yonkou...!!! / I’ve gotta be ready to beat them all up!!! Or else... // ...I’ll never become Pirate King!!!!" When I asked Sandman, he says that "even" in that translation is not necessary. Why Cnet added that "even"? I dont know, probably he thought that best expresses the meaning of that Japanese text. My point was, its not only Stephen who adds/modify words to convey the intended message.
- I take most unknown translators' with a grain of salt. Its good to have other opinion, but I would rather trust guys like Stephen, Cnet, Sandman than any newbie.
The question is, is ViZ perfect? No. Humans make mistakes. Any translator in the world will have his flaws, not only Stephen. But we cant start arguing on translations in each debate, that just makes a debate annoying for me. If we start to think in Trumpian way that "everything is shit", "dont trust anybody", we will never have any good discussion. Everyone will just take the translation that fits their agenda. Thats why I am happy to take ViZ as the ultimate truth for any arena or other discussions.

I bet you dont think or will admit all Sanji's feats with RS are Judge's, will you? But can say such stupid thing as "Zoro's being irrelevant" when he is the one using the sword withoud feeling any shame.
Only Zoro and Oden can use that sword mate, but any idiot can equip a power ranger suit and pretend to be cool, thats the diference.

People talking shit about Sanji using the RS but at least he's the one using it while people can't handle the fact that Kaido and Big Mom was worrying about Enma instead of Zoro. How the table have turned.
Enma uses Zoro's haki, it is HIS power he had to train and earn it, RS dosent require training nor did Sanji work for that powerup., thats why i always call it "cheap", specialy considering he didnt fight anyone in that arc to get it.
Cheap but necessary, since Sanji was lagging behind soo far Luffy and Zoro that the term monster "trio" might not even exist, heck Franky was been more impressive than him with his franky shogun. But only a delusional fool would not admit he is stronger with the RS.
Then why you all pretend the sword is doing everything by itself?

If Zoro can use enma to the extent that it can trigger PTSD flashbacks out of Kaido and make him recognize the sword, thats a ZORO FEAT, its that simple.
