Game Style -
  • Day Start - The game will begin with a day phase. When each day has ended or the cap has been reached, please stop posting.
  • Claiming - All types of claiming is legal and will have no mechanical consequence involved.
  • Voting - To vote, please just write the word "vote" and the player name with it. All in bold. You do not need to unvote to change your votes.
  • Cycles - Each day and night phase will last 24-hours. In total, a 48-hour cycle.
  • Posting - You must post at least three times a day to be considered active. Failure to do so once will lead you to be mod-blocked. A second time will yield a substitution or replacement. I will publicly state at the end of the day phase which player has been mod-blocked.
  • Majority Lynch - The lynch system I will be using is majority. To lynch a player, you must reach the majority amount of votes on them.
  • Whispering - I will be allowing whispers in this game. But, unlike the original game, you may only send 2 whispers per day and only receive 2 whispers per day.
Game Rules -
  • Do not, under any circumstances, reveal any information to any player regarding this game if you are no longer alive.
  • Do not quote Private Messages from me; paraphrase. And no, replacing second-person pronouns with first-person pronouns does not count as paraphrasing.
  • Do not edit your posts; double post if necessary. Failure to comply could result in a mod-kill.
  • Vote towards a lynch by voting the poll. Failure to vote results in nothing but shame.
  • You must post at least 5 times per day phase. Failure to comply will result in a warning and a mod-block at the first offense. A second failure will result in a forced substitution or mod-kill. If you think you might not be able to meet the requirement at any given phase, let me know in advance and you will not be affected by the repercussions. Note that posts made for the sole purpose of meeting this requirement will not be considered.
  • If you believe that I have made a mistake, please address the issue with me via Private message. Save any other comments for after the game.

Throne of Lies is a complex game. It is totally okay to not have a full grasp of it yet. There is a Throne of Lies Guide which I have recently made improvements on. DO NOT use the wiki to play this game. If you do so, you will be very confused because the roles and mechanics are not 1:1 with the wiki. USE THE GUIDE. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask me.

Just realized, you can't vote in the poll of a locked thread. Whoops. 🌚

Go vote now if you weren't able to. Additionally, for the sake of convenience, I'll be using a poll to keep track of votes. I recommend that you continue to vote in the thread anyway since that's useful for pressuring and whatnot. However, I'll be using the poll votes as the official votes, so if you don't vote in the poll, it will not count. At the end of each day phase, I'll post a final vote tally in the thread so you can keep track of previous votes.

Sparks of fire lit up the night sky. Flames roared in a forest clearing. The smell of rotting flesh permeated the air. The citizens of the Blue Dragon Kingdom watched with cold, stern gazes as the Sorceress, who was found guilty of treason, cried in agony as she was being burned at the stake. Instead of the standard hanging, she was given a taste of her medicine. Detonated bodies of innocent Blue Dragons were found linked to her. The people wanted revenge and they got it. All the residents of the Blue Dragon were present to spectate this serving of justice, including the King.

Minutes passed by as the burning continued, just when everyone thought the Sorceress was finally dead, a raspy cough rang throughout the glade. “Still alive, eh? This fire must not be burning hot enough,” said the Knight as he reached for a cloth to fan the flames. Before he could grab it, however, a shriek from above him halted his movement. As he looked up, to his shock, the Sorceress was laughing! It was a horrendous laugh. It sounded as if two stones were being scratched against each other.

“HOW DARE YOU!! How dare you burn me?!?! Have you no sense?!?! Do you think burning a magic-user will result in peace and prosperity?? Only carnage will come out of this! On the 31st of October, all of you will pay retribution for this heinous deed!! And as for you, my King, you sit on a throne of lies!”

As the Sorceress cackled away, a legion of panthers arose from the earth. They approached the now terrified Blue Dragons, snarling with hunger for blood. The knight whipped out his sword, the Hunter called for his companions to fight the incoming wildcats. Just as they prepared for battle, the panthers disappeared and the Sorceress stopped cackling for death is now gripping her.

Four days until October 31st.
