they were just doing had to hand combat whole chapter.........and what gets me annoyed is that SIU never uses the earlier power ups the same way, he always bring up new powers and ignores previous powers completely
like Bam against Zahard or white or Kallavan ...etc , he never uses those powers again
The rating is lowest for this chapter. 3.80.

I think it feels like no progress was made this chapter. It's again baam getting destroyed by Dumas and that's all. We will see whether baam puts up a good fight or not in next 2-3 chapters.

Why is Baam not using all his powers? Leviathan, Soul powers, black hole missing. I guess he used Black March, thyrssa, and thorns here. He’ll again move to the awakened state or something I guess to defeat Dumas.

I think maybe baam can't use all these powers at once and it puts high stress on his body or something along those lines.
he did use so many things though at the same time
2 horns
Red Thryssia
Blue Thryssia
Orb
Red Blade
Leviathan (most likely)
it seems like he was giving his all....but he was already exhausted and beaten up
....I don't know what kind of crazy power up he could get that'd be so powerful that all those combined powers would look like nothing compared to it (Dumas was already low diffing Bam...that means if that power beats Dumas, it'd mean 2 Horns+2 Thryssias+ Orb + Leviathn +...<<<<< that Bam)

What do you guys think would be the best course scenario right now? Regarding this fight against Dumas I mean.

To me, the most interesting scenario would be to have Baam give up. To make him admit that he's currently too weak to do anything to Dumas, and have him despair enough to unseal Leviathan. Have Leviathan completely take control of his body (Sukuna/Itadori dynamic), and defeat Dumas. However, don't stop it here. Have Baam unable to come back to his senses, and let Leviathan go on a rampage for the rest of the arc, fucking allies and enemies alike as he tries to fulfill his goal of absorbing the Three Sea Dragons and kill Traumerei.

I would love a scene where Baam eventually regains consciousness and control of his body, only to see the massacre that his decision to unseal Levi brought. If someone here has read Jujutsu Kaisen, I think they know what kinda scene I'm talking about. Let this extremely poorly written situation at least turn into something that has consequences for him and the characters around him, and strike some well-awaited development onto them.

Nah I don’t want this to happen. It has happened in way too many mangas, it’ll look like a cheap copy. Main aim of Baam is to get enough power from Dumas’s heart to heal Khun and Rak? Maybe find a way to stall Dumas for sometime and do it. I’m not so sure what’s gonna happen lol.

While it's possible, I think it makes more sense if leviathan goes berserk against traumerei. Siu can simply give baam some new power up in this case. At least he should beat Dumas by the end of this arc.

I wouldn’t mind if he can compete more against Dumas or finish his mission in some way instead of defeating Dumas. Dumas is like one of the strongest members of Po Bidau, defeating him already is too much?

Yeah I agree. Even if baam puts a good fight and then gets saved or rescued by someone else, it would be fine by me. Dumas is probably top 50-60 imo.
