Give him vander's fruit, Ussop won't have to aim and fire and try to track augur anymore on his own, the whole fight would be a game of tag and escape, Ussop has to tag augur then get out of there and spam. But augur can snipe, warp, and kill Ussop. But the mark fruit is probably the best for a sniper. All the sniper has to do is tag his target then shoot. Tracking vs warping

So maybe oda does have something planned. Like him beating the reversi giants as a call back to him bragging to chopper that he beat creatures similar to the skypiea people's shadow.

Outside of the M3's fights, I believe Usopp's sniper duel with Augur will be the best BBP matchup. Oda planted the seeds for it as early as the Jaya Arc, whereas Zoro's and Sanji's opponents remained unclear for longer. For years, there have been theories that the RHP will fight the BBP and ultimately lose before the SHP get their turn. Yasopp's defeat and likely death to Augur would add weight to Usopp's duel.

Doesn't matter, he'll be back being a coward next arc. Whatever he does in Elbaf won't matter in the end.
Oda will never get rid of his "Usopp is scared as fuck and lies more than he breathes" gags.
Sanji will always be a perv, Zoro an alcoholic, Nami a gold digger, etc... same for Usopp the coward.
