Questions & Mysteries Wano and Skypiea - Worshiping Ancestors as Gods and The Dead - Will JoyBoy return briefly?

#21
I was right and the former Joy Boy didn't return thank God :josad:
Yh Thank god. I even said it in the post itself
Now will Joy Boy take over Luffy's body? No. At least i don't think so.. in Thriller Bark Luffy has faced a similar situation to our fears of Luffy is JoyBoy reincarnation. When Luffy absorbed the Souls "Shadows" of a 100 People. His Will allowed him to remain Luffy while "using" their Strength in his fight against himself "Oars"

The parallels with Ryuma/Oden and Calgara/Noland made my jaw drop. What fantastic writing! Sadly some parts didn't load for me, but the overall points made are incredible. Skypeia continues to grow in importance, it's so fun to see! Crazy how connected to gods Zoro has been through the story.

I'm convinced we will see spirits of the past at some point, possibly to urge Luffy on in a large battle. Amazing work!

The Parallels continues to Oz, Kaido And JoyBoy. I am sorry about the parts you couldn't get. I had to cut down some stuff because there was a limit on how many images i could use :milaugh:. And it also would have been so complicated if i left them but i guess i missed up cutting them off.

The most important part of this post is how well Oda connected these islands. The Jaya Map is also a mystery especially the missing eye which in itself must be an island somewhere and my theory is its the Flower Capital of Wano.

I agree, I think the missing island in the eye is the Flower Capital... but, it used to have another capital placed on top of it. God Valley, also known as Onigashima. This is why Kaido wanted to place Onigashima over the Flower Capital: because that's where it always should have been.

I also believe that Onigashmi is Joy Boy's skull, and that's why Kaido is so obsessed with it (Kaido possibly Joy Boy's Oni descendant?). But, why put it there? Why does it belong there?

I always assumed that Wano was pulled together, then lifted up somehow. What if that wasn't the case? What if Joy Boy CARRIED WANO ON HIS HEAD to save it, the Ancient Kingdom, from the WG?

Why is Wano shaped so oddly? Wano is built on top of Joy Boy's corpse: he died standing up, keeping the government from claiming what remained of the ancient kingdom that he could save.

Oda's lore is so good, it makes me question my sanity. It's so easy to theorize about this series!

I really hope Joy Boy does come back, it would be so hype!

I do also believe that this Skull belongs to Joy Boy. and he built Wano and Oz from Thriller Bark might have finished the Job and Zunesha still carries the last part of their collection.

Oars from WB fleet - on his ship it says Oars III. I am willing to say that Oars from Thriller Bark is the II Oars while Onigashima is the 1st.
Oars from Thriller Bark Vivre card says "created a country of ruffians by piecing several countries together. This country is rumored to still exist to this day" aka Wano i believe.

This Oars died at the age of 159 and created this Country over 500 years ago. Which means he was alive during 700-800 years ago. Now the interesting Part here is if the Flower Capital was taken from Jaya's eye by Oars there is a huge evidence that supports this. The culture on Skypiea or at least the Shandians has so many references to Oars or i should say their Sun God who is shown on their tattoos Masks or even pillars here and there....Is an Oars face. They worship The Sun God JoyBoy aka Oars. Which means they would allow him to take that piece of the island since he is their god's son. Which fits their culture from what we have seen from Noland's story where they worship the snake and called the other snake that calgara killed the God's Son "chapter 289".

Its really a long long with so much details. I don't even know how to write it down lol. I do have all the materials i need.

I'm glad Luffy didn't turn out to be a manifestation of former Joy Boy's will:josad: That would have been kinda pathetic
We all are and he shouldn't be anything of the sort. Its only that throu the fruit and the hat he carries his will. And sometime down the line the people in the story who expects Luffy to do a "Choice" might be surprised that Luffy chooses his own. Just like what Rayleigh said to Robin "You might come up with a different answer than we did".

That is why Oda is a genius because he is tackling this idea of Free Will and Destiny.

I'm afraid that compared to the final one, skypiea will ultimately remain the better arc
