Current Events What will be Saturn's role in Egghead?

#2
I don't think Saturn will get defeated.

My guess would be that Sanji and Bonney will have a short fight against Saturn, then I could see Kuma show up and fight Saturn as well.

I can also maybe see Saturn killing Kuma, at some point the giant ancient robot should then come in and fight Saturn.

While Saturn is busy being distracted fighting the giant ancient robot, that's when the SHs along with Vegapunk and Bonney will then escape.

In my honest opinion, just a dangerous threat in the arc, but he'll need to show it.

I assume Sanji/Franky will fight and get gimped if slightly. The Robot probably comes in to help VP/Luffy if Saturn goes after them specifically.

But my assumption is that by the end of it all, Saturn will be some sort of background threat that gets York, the Seraphim and Mother Flame while the Marines are handled.

- York because Vegapunk floated the idea of accelerating the growth of the Seraphim early in the arc, i.e. someone needs to do it to all 7.

- No way the opportunity of having all 7 Seraphim together will be missed. WG already has the other 3.

- Mother Flame is needed to keep Imu's weapon a threat. Without it, it doesnt work. Saturn is needed for this. The other Marines do not know what to do with the Mother Flame.

Hell kill Kuma in front of Bonney and Vegapunk
the man who beat Kaido will attack him but be blocked by Kizaru
Ancient Robot will come in to fight Saturn
Will give lore about the Gorosei
In the end Saturn will be defeated
This doesn't make sense to me?!?!

If Saturn — the big bad of the arc — it will be by no one's hands but the protagonist's.

I understand claiming Saturn won't fall, but saying that anyone other than Luffy defeats him is implausible.

Saturns not the big bad? Kizaru is.
Saturns as much a big bad as Kuma was in thriller bark.
Nope.

Saturn is Borsalino's direct superior, the commander/director of this operation, and he shows up before any of the named Marines are defeated.

Kuma only showed up to the Strawhats at the very end of the arc.

It's so completely different.

Saturn is the Linlin of WCI, not the Kuma of Thriller Bark.

Saturn is a superior, but that doesn’t make him stronger. And if the rest of the enemy forces weren’t all marines then you’d have a point, but Kizaru is the highest ranked marine in this army of marines.

Kizaru vs Luffy isn’t ending, that’s why oda added the ancient robot into this arc.

Saturn's role is to give the readers an idea of how strong the Gorosei and Imu are.
That magic circle screams "a final villain has just arrived".
Saturn isn't getting defeated here or it will massively dehype the Gorosei and Imu.

With Saturn being present in the battlefield, the protagonists have no way of winning the battle.
The Pacifistas are already on Saturn's side.
Luffy is tired.
Zoro is occupied.
Jimbo is far.
Sanji isn't defeating Saturn.
Things will only get worse if the Seraphs gets freed.
The SHPs have no other choice here but to flee.

Saturn will get stalled by the huge ass robot while the SHP and co. escapes.

My hopium is Dragon and some other Revos that can fly will come and help the SHPs and VP escape.
