Zoro is an average character that very rarely does cool things.
The problem is by existing, he panders to edgelord, teenagers, people in complete denial and generally very boring children, and this by consequence deteriorates the conversation in the fandom.
Just look at this thread, people talking about "jealousy" (they mean envy but are illiterate), talking about him being "too strong" or the "MVP".
It's just extremely boring, just as we speak there are in the front page only 3 threads downplaying other characters to wank zoros
