He'll get another DF but I don't think he has COC, or at least he won't be able to develop it to the next stage. He's already too broken, 3 DF, possibly all of them awakened plus all three types of haki in advanced form on top of his 'special' body is just too much. Besides, some of his DF abilities overlap with haki: negating DF, Gura Gura send shock waves just like ACOC.

Blackbeard for sure has CoC because he managed to get a crew of tough criminals who aren't the type to follow orders.
This theme started from Luffy when Uruge said that "Zoro is not the type of person to follow orders and that says something about his captain." Then we had Chinjao who said that "you have to stand above other conqueror's to have a PK potential," and then Oda continued it with Whitbeard and Oden and eventually he introduced Rocks who had 4 CoC haki users in his crew. Blackbeard has to have CoC especially considering his connection with Rocks.

For sure it was and by far before haki was introduced since you get a free pass tobthe logia user body without amy need of a trick (water for Croco, rubber for Enel etc.) but the inroduction of haki almost destroyed his main perk (at elast as far as we know).

Yet the point for me is that the yami has very strong perks (maybe the yami is also the key to get 3 df, most likely there is a reason if BB targeted this specific df for decades, also gravity is not bad at all and it can always nullify other df attacks like with WB gura hit etc.) but also great downfalls (like the increased damage taken) and now we go back to the Kaido df theory. That df gives Kaido an almost total invulnerability and that will cover perfectly the yami weakness plus if he can grab a logia (like the original admiral trio) like he did with Ace and deliver a quake punch in hybrid dragon form that would be a lethal attack. They should synergize very well and maybe it is not a random fact.

There are some theories that suggest he will get the phoenix fruit of Marco but that gives only regeneration, an almost total invulnerability is still better.

I am pretty sure people would choose lightning logia over darkness since darkness doesn't have defensive abilities like other logia. BB is just too powerful that it won't matter for him defensively.

Darkness absorbs all the damage that Blackbeard takes, Blackbeard himself said it. You can easily deal with regular logias by using CoA but not with Blackbeard.

If he will take over the World government and Imu's throne, which could be equal to finding Laugh Tale, then he needs to beat them for sure. Oda will either hype Blackbeard by using Shanks, or by using Admirals. It could be Admirals too.

If Enel had darkness logia instead lightning logia, he wouldn't be that powerful.

The problem with the lighting logia imo is that Enel has it. So that means Oda has to reintroduce Enel somewhat in the story (Elbaf arc or the Marijoa arc, anyway he can't go on for years, imo BB will get a power up at the end of Wano to show that even if Luffy has reached Kaido level BB is still stronger) and at that point make him die and have BB take his fruit. And honestly all this stuff happening suddenly out of the blue is a bit of a stretch. Also since BB seems to have the strongest logia (at least it was hyped this way), the strongest paramecia (the quake df) now the easier answer for his next df would be the strongest zoan.

BTW I think Blackbeard VS shanks won’t be solo. Shanks will be calling the admiral gang.

I mean how can you hype Blackbeard to be much stronger then big mom and kaido if he just defeated shanks.

Blackbeard absorbs all the damage, he doesn't take the damage he absorbs it, that's the difference. Blackbeard also absorbs the pain, yes it implies in the process–you're right about that, but he still absorbs everything even pain. You can't damage Blackbeard with regular haki, you have to have something special, like for example CoC.

For instance, having the revenge of the brothers on Akainu and Zoro v Kizaru makes the most sense for now, unless you refer to killing.

Because in Blackbeard's sketch it said that Blackbeard can potentially defeat all three Admirals. Nothing suprising since he has 2/3 Admiral devil fruits.

I guess there's a misunderstanding. Blackbeard will probably still not defeat all admirals by himself despite being stated he bears the potential. But the plot is often not linear under such dynamics.
