Questions & Mysteries When will we get Asura

#6
Never. Asura was always a bad attack.
it doesn't make sense, not even by the cartoon logic of one piece. it doesn't work as a mode like gear 2 and diable jump.
he used it 2 time in a thousand chapter, and not once in 500. he wouldn't have gotten Enma if he has something up his sleeve.

this is just a part of a bigger problem with the fandom believing that there is more to the strawhats post-skip training than what they have shown.
I believe we have seen the limit of their training already. that's why they keep getting these power ups (Enma.raid suit.new climatic....etc).

Oda wouldn't give Zoro and Sanji PUs if they didn't show everything they had/mastered from TS

Oda must be special kind of dumbass to forget Asura. Zoro still has asura, we've not seen it since the TS because none of Zoro's opponents are strong enough to pressure him that far. It doesn't mean he doesn't have it anymore. Every SH returned with heavily improved versions of their pre skip moves and more. It'd be ridiculous to even assume Zoro lost one of his most iconic power ups. Zoro received a PU because he didn't get to grow via fights unlike Luffy and his TS powers wouldn't be enough to fight the Yonko themselves.

Oda wouldnt give Zoro Asura just to not use it any more post time skip

Asura ain't coming back, and zoro fans would still argue that Zoro mid-diffed Mihawk because he didn't use Asura.

It's dumb. it's not visually interesting or dynamic. it doesn't fit the three sword style.

oda could have easily had him use it and give him even better techniques like luffy and sanji? what makes asura more special than gear 2 or diable jump?

Oda implemented Asura into his story he has no reason not to use it agian, Its as simple as that.
The only reason Zoro didnt use it post time skip is because he was neve challenged enough to the degree in which he needed to use it.
But now since hes going against a yonko its the perfect chance to use it.

Luffy has Pre TS PU which is Gear2/3
Sanji has Pre TS PU which is DJ
Zoro has Pre TS PU which is Ashura

Luffy has Post TS PU which is G4
Sanji has Post TS as well which is HM
Zoro possibly has Post TS PU as well but has still yet to be seen

it's crazy that Oda has shown Sanji's and Luffy''s but not zoro's, not even Ashura has been shown since TS albeit it was a Pre TS PU. There's no reason for Oda to recton Ashura after he made zoro used his old move Hiryu Kaen, it's just probably that they are insecure of how strong zoro full potential is currently lol. If Oda recton Ashura, then it means Oda has nerfed zoro since the TS unless Oda give a feasible clarification on it

Final blow to behead the dragon

Ashura is coming back, when ? Who knows.
Oda doesn't forget attacks like that.

Why hasn't it come back ? It's a mystery but i wouldn't look too much into it as sometimes Oda makes questionable choices without much thought nor reasons behind them.

When Zoro uses Ashura,it is bound to be more impressive than anything Zoro has shown so far though.
Asura isnt coming back just like Zoro isnt fighting Kaido. :myman:
I already said this in another thread, but my prediction is:

1. All the remaining match-ups in Onigashima are getting finalized soon. All the remaining SHs, PNM alliance, Calamity, and F6. Maybe even WB remnants and BMP.

2. Act 3 ends with Hybrid Kaido taking down the SNs to finish off the Act with a tragedy.

HOWEVER

Act 4 Main Fight resumes with Zoro channeling Ashura to fight Kaido while Luffy and the other SNs are out.

If we take Shonen tropes into account, then obviously Ashura Zoro won't finish off Hybrid Kaido solo because of these possible reasons:

1. Big Mom's intervention.

2. King's intervention.

3. Hybrid Kaido has an even more insane regeneration/healing factor.

4. If Ashura is a form, it likely has similar drawbacks to G4.

5. If Ashura is an attack, it likely puts a strain on Zoro (like Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki did on Kenshin).

6. Combination of 4 & 5.

However it plays, Ashura Zoro eventually fails to stop Hybrid Kaido permanently. Kinda like 8 Gates Guy vs Madara, for reference.

Then, once Zoro has to stop channeling Ashura, Luffy bails him out (like how Zoro has bailed out Luffy 4 times in the whole raid, so I guess Oda will make Luffy repay the favor at least once).

The story then continues with Luffy trying to get the job done as Zoro recovers so he can rejoin the fight later to finish off Kaido for good. :kata:
