The fodder got it pretty bad but Charlos looks more flat and bloody from it. The sad thing though is that they've been using words like "attempted murder" so he seems to be still alive.
How ever I do not see him being out and about for a long time, dude will probably be in a hospital for the rest of the series. Or even better he succumbs to his wounds and that ends up being a massive incident.

I think the gulf in power or endurance between Celestial Dragons, who have almost exclusively been portrayed as unforgivably weak, and the average fodder pirate (especially under a Yonko) who has fought formidable opponents on the seas is larger than the gulf between Luffy and Sai/Leo; tanking that kind of hit from any of the three of them has to be marginally easier for people who’ve been in a fight than those who haven’t
