We know Monet died in Punk Hazard. And in the Same arc we saw the reincarnation of fruits live for the first time. Ceaser made his subordinates put a crate of apples next to where the specimen Smiley was gonna die. And when he died, the fruit reincarnated into the fruit in the bag.
This was foreshadowing for Monet. I believe strongly that when she died her fruit reincarnated into the tangerines in Namis garden. Being the closest fruit in proximity. This gains more credence when you realise this arc heavily focused on namis role as a Mother and the will of Bellemere she inherited to protect young vulnerable children who needed her help.
We see this arc focused on her dynamic with female marines aswell. As tashigi was also someone who tried hard to protect the kids. And she reminded nami of bellemere.
I believe the snow logia has been on the sunny since and this is quite funny to think about. Given that in dressrosa all manner of powerful fighters across the world came to try and get the flame logia in the tournament. And when they exchanged the cups they literally had a free logia that was just as powerful with no strings attached chilling on the strawhats ship.
I actually believe all the colosseum fighters along with strawhats will learn this fruit has been here since punk Hazard. And they will learn the connection and relationship the former user monet had with Dofflamingo and her involvement in the Dressrosa tragedy.
Whitey Bay has nearly all elements of her associated with the Arctic, winter, snow and ice.
Her name refers to an ice skating rink in England, Whitley Bay, her jolly roger is the north Pole longitude lines, her ship is an ice breaker which is used in the Antarctica regions to break the ice sheets so a ship can travel. Her place of activity is filled with all manner of Arctic creatures.
Polar bears, Arctic wolves, snow leopards, reindeer, walrus, seals, penguins. She has likely be surrounded by this manner of creature her entire life. Her imagination and creativity with the snow logia would be insane, this environment she has become one with would be fully expressed in her use of it.
Then there's the epithet. She has the epithet "ice witch", if we didn't know the snow logia or ice logia we would think she had one of these powers. Her name refers to her character being a cold woman who has a heart of ice but with this fruit it would now perfectly reflect her powers and perfectly fit.
So how is this character randomly gonna get to being on the strawhats ship and eating a Tangerine that contains the fruit. I actually think she already has a relationship with many strawhats.
We already know she has one with Jinbei as she is a original WB pirate and Jinbei is friends with all of them. But I strongly believe she has preexisting ties to Luffy, Sanji and Franky.
I think Whitey Bay is the one who gave Ace his hat. If you look at marineford. The 2 people who broke into the plateau for the WB allies was Oars and Bay. Oars as we know received a hat from Ace, while I think Whitey Bay gave him his hat.
We know Ace had this hat when he was 17 in Goa but we don't know who gave it to him. He cherished this hat nearly as much as Luffy cherished his own. So the person who gave it has to be significant to Ace.
I believe Whitey Bay came to Goa and met Luffy and his brother and ultimately chose to give the Hat to him
