I read the new posts flaired as theory on reddit regulary and everyday multiple people make long and stupid posts about this. It was exciting when Doffy's past was revealed, but why do those morons want to have it repeated. It is not as exciting the second or third time.
Dragon-is-not-Garp's-son-theories are equally annoying.
I don't understand the insane popularity of those ideas. Even if say Shanks is a Celestial Dragon, he was found when he was 1 year old, so he has no knowledge about it anyway. Wouldn't change much. Not much more than trivia. Why waste time with this nonsense when there are so many open questions?
