Questions & Mysteries Why do Admiral fanboys complain about the Yonko (mainly BM) being handled so poorly, but expect the Admirals to get treated well?

Admiral fanboys complain about how trash Oda is at handling villains, and they use BM as their main example, but why do they expect the Admirals to be treated well when their time comes? If Oda can’t write Kaido and BM well, who are the two main villains of a saga, then why would the Admirals, who will be only secondary/tertiary antagonists in their arc, be treated any better? I have a feeling that when the Admirals get their fights, Admiral boys will complain about how poorly Oda is handling them. They will say it makes no sense for Sanji to beat up an Admiral in one hour when they could fight for 10 days, and they’ll whine about their AoE not being good enough

Its because our headcanons gets in way of our thinking. We overestimated the Emperors so when we see someone hurting them or making them struggle we say oh its because that character is an exception.

I don't complain about the way Akainu was treated on Marineford personally, since I'm aware it was a necessary evil. His performance doesn't reflect what he is truly capable of, most likely.

LMFAO! "we overestimate the emperors", yea falling off a fucking sky and not getting a scratch and then at the same time man handling and capturing the supernovas and one shotting Luffy really is us "overestimating the emperors". It has absolutely nothing to do with Oda. Every criticism of One Piece is due to the "readers overestimation". That sounds reasonable to me. Oda is not at fault ever. It is always the readers fault for believing in Oda's writing.

Because they are already well treated, as they were introduced many years ago, and they always look good.

BM and Kaido on the other hand, were already introduced being shits.

Disagree. Yonkos were well introduced, even before Admirals(Shanks and WB clash). BM and Kaido were also well introduced(Kaido falling of sky and BM one vs all with her screaming, which was ridiculous by the way). They were poorly development.

People talk shit even about WB. They don't understand that he died as World's Strongest(his title) and Akainu is a beast for not dying at that battle. But WB literally took him out of combat until he died(by disease not BB).

I wouldn’t call 2 of them struggling with Sabo and 3 Vets “well treated”
3 Vets? What the hell is that?

You do always spam this? We have no clue how strong the Revo commanders are exactly so power capping them doesn't work. The fight was also off screen.

How is the off screen bout more disrespectful than Oda hyping you up as being unkillable only to be almost one shot and everyone hurting you without even using haki(Kaido)? How is it more disrespectful than almost dying 3 times via falling and having the likes of Usopp, Chopper, Franky, Robin and Brooke run over you(BM)?

They are portrayed solidly below Ivankov, who is at best YC3 level with his current feats/portrayal. Almost all the times where BM has looked bad have been extremely situational, and people like Franky, Robin, and Brook never actually injured BM. She ranked all their attacks

Ok? So circumstances are only applicable to the emperors? It goes both ways.

You're comparing an off screen battle to someone getting clowned on screen by characters like Chopper and Franky.

You are so afraid of the future of the manga where kaido and big mom will not be and you have no choice but to make invalid attempts of what is going to happen as if you were Oda

How many chapters since big mom using CoC coating and named attacks hasn't defeated Law and Kid even though they are very nerfed?

Or Iva and the rev army commanders are just much stronger than people thought?

Prime Kuma >= Doffy but Iva > Prime Kuma so you can’t say Iva is just YC3

Not to mention do you think the admirals could unleash their full power in mariejoa? We’ve seen the aftermath of two admirals fighting their strongest. They destroyed a freaking island. They can’t do that in the holy land

Sabo and the Revs also couldn’t use too much AoE since slaves would be caught in the crossfire
