scrolling through twitter and reddit, i constantly stumble upon theories involving blackbeard stealing corpses. never about shadows. even though that was moria's main goal in the florian triangle. he didn't kill his victims. he put them in chains and used their shadows. the ryuma zombie had ryuma's cropse and brook's shadow. to what of the two was it closer in strength? brook! bb might take the corpse of ace, wb, rocks, kaido or whatever, i don't care. it doesn't really matter. but the shadow of garp or shanks, that would be something huge.
also the zombie ryuma's favourite food was curry, same as brook's. so not only doesn't the zombie inherit the strength from the corpse, also doesn't inherit the personality. thus a wb zombie would have nothing to do with whitebeard, apart from appearance. he wouldn't have been brought to life again. just an empty shell. this wouldn't be like edo tensei from naruto, where the "souls" of the characters are actually back.
