Over the years the respect for Yonko has fallen. You have people saying EOsS Sanji will be Kaido level. An admiral can beat a Yonko. A bunch of stupid takes. But let’s look at this with all bias aside.
The only characters that aren’t Yonko that should be compared to Yonko are Mihawk Dragon Prime Garp Akainu & possibly a few people in the WG. Yes I have FA > Admiral that’s a fact that Has been proven with Akainu beating Aokiji.
Prime Rayleigh wasn’t fighting Garp or WB Roger was.
Every admiral has lost their Yonko encounter.
Shanks negged GB from miles away.
WB fought every Admiral on MF while old and sick and came out on top.
Luffy put Kizaru down in one hit.
No matter how you look at it there is a clear gap between the Yonko and admirals.
Now let’s talk about why Zoro can be compared to the Yonko EoS but Sanji can’t. It’s because of their goal. Zoro plans to beat Mihawk who Oda closely portrays to be somewhere around Shanks level (he’s not) but there’s a reason people believe that. Sanji has no reason to reach that level so he won’t. He will never fight an opponent on that level. So it’s a stupid argument to say Sanji will be Yonko level.
Lastly, the gorosei weren’t strong they were just immortal. They aren’t Yonko level either until proven otherwise.
