Black clover's reference
This is common knowledge of any RPG where there are mages, wizards, sorceres, druids etc.

There is that little girl partner of Mr 3. I guess she didn't had DF power but she had Magic also.

Too bad Zoro can't do Magic but the sword could only suck his haki using the mana he had.

That just means Zoro is living One Piece in hard mode. Oden choose to be a knight or berserker therefore didn't had mana. Zoro miss clicked on Mage because of his direction issues so he has lower potential as a sword user but still is making his way to be the strongest.

He is kind of the Solo Levelling protagonist that was also a magician but had high stats in close combat.

Mana is often more associated with magic in the sense of making something from nothingness, but Haki and Mana are both considered spiritual energy. They are interchangeable and used in much the same ways. To use a flying sword attack, for example, the swordsman must imbue their weapon with Haki.

The reason why Vegapunk will call it science in the fictional world is because it's pseudo-science in the real world. The normal world would call it magic because it's based on life force energy.

Mainly, this is an issue involving Western and Eastern beliefs. In the West, the logic of Devil Fruits and Haki would be considered magic. In the East, the logic of Devil Fruits and Haki is considered scientific. In other words, it's backward science based on esotericism. The modern world doesn't use this type of knowledge. Though, it is considered real by many people.

I think he is referring to not only when Vegapunk explains the "science" behind it, but also to times in the story where people said things like "Devil Fruit powers aren't magic." This alludes to them being based on science instead. However, it's crackpot science. Not real.
