XenForo license $160.00 *. Each XenForo license includes 12 months of support and updates. An additional 12 month extension can be purchased from $55.00, so $55 a year to keep shit updated. Add-on's are the shits that cost a lot if you wanna stay updated with bug fixes, especially for the non-free versions. Most of the time you can skip updates, unless you really need to renew to get an urgent bug fix/security patch applied (this applies to XenForo versions too).
Hosting should not be more than $20 a month and even so, you can basically host a forum on a VPS with <200 active users for less than $10/m unless you're doing yearly. They typically provide discounts for that too.
Depending on the domain name, you can at minimum pay $8-10 per year.
