1. Post timeskip has been going on for 10+ years already we are due for another one
2. usopp needs to train his observation and he will most likely awaken armament this arc so he needs training
3. Multiple straw hats are probably gonna awaken some sort of haki this arc so there has to be a timeskip for training and they are literally in the land of armament haki and multiple haki users they can train there
4. Usopp needs a new kabuto it’s been 10+ years
5. Zoro most likely will get his own sword and get to name it
6. Nami needs a new climatact
7. just like how the first timeskip happened with chaos in the world the second timeskip will also be chaos in the world( reverie Blackbeard etc.)
8. we need to see wano open and that can’t be done in just a day there has to be a timeskip and if it’s a year for example then that would be the day wano opens
9. Wano has been built up for 8+ years this isn’t alabasta or fishman island or anything like that. They can’t just throw a banquet and leave in the middle of night that would be horrendous writing
10. there’s still a lot of unresolved plot points in wano currently
11. The designs of the straw hats are getting outdated so Oda has to do another timeskip. People like franky Robin zoro luffy need updated character designs and a timeskip is the easy way to do that
12. The straw hats just aren’t strong enough to move on. It’s that simple. If the straw hats went into onigashima with no alliance they would have gotten destroyed and wouldn’t have even made it to kaido. People like franky jinbe brook Robin usopp nami chopper can’t just be flying six level. If they are that means they are way too weak to fight against shanks Blackbeard or any other top crew. Kaido has an army the straw hats don’t that’s the difference between both crews and why the straw hats need to have a timeskip to get stronger and learn haki.
