I’m not sure if I’m the only one who has noticed this and it was honestly just a shower thought I had this morning but….
Has anyone ever asked themselves, why would it matter if someone has a “D” initial in their name on a wanted poster? No one besides Robin and possibly a select handful of people have any sort of inkling what the initial actually means.
And then with the introduction of Luffy’s new wanted poster, the government feared the populace seeing Luffy in his “Nika” form. Why? No one in the entire world should have any clue as to what Nika looks like or who Joy Boy even is for that matter. Right?! Well, I’m starting to think this isn’t actually the case….
What if there’s a group of people or a person (that we haven’t been introduced to yet) who are waiting for the literal appearance of Nika in the modern era to make their move?
Without that being the case, I couldn’t possibly imagine why the World Government would be in such a panic over Luffy’s Nika face being shown to the public. To be fair to these totalitarian bastards, they’ve done a pretty knock up job suppressing historical information (and information in general) from the general public for hundreds of years.
So the real question is, just what are they afraid of? They should be pretty confident that regardless of if people see Luffy’s face, it wouldn’t incite any sort of talk of liberation as no one should know who Joy Boy is.
It’s not like little Susie is going to check out a history book at the library that’s already been burned.
So what do you guys think? What’s the deal here?
