Now while all Supernova's participated. Zoro took the brunt and challenged the force of the Emperor Tag-team.
Luffy did his G4 thing, but ultimately he was a nuisance, nothing more really. Hindering Zoro.
Kid did his thing but his attacks did not amount too much until it came time to remove big mom. He also hindered Zoro.
Law did exceptionally well, as he was good support and he was the person who least hindered Zoro. However, his attacks did not amount to much against emperors psychologically or physically (until maybe recently with injection shot.)
Killer was more like an assister, however in the end he hindered Zoro.
Now we can go into detail, and explain all that they did. But when we do we will come to the conclusion that they hindered Zoro. (I will probably edit later with better detail.)
Ultimately, Zoro was the driving force of the fight against both emperor's, and the funny thing is, he wasn't allowed to drive without hinderance.
CHAPTER 1001:
When we get to the roof Zoro uses OniGiri, however Oda hinders it with Enma on purpose. Zoro holds back his Haki because of Enma's properties. Zoro even used less Haki than he did against Killer.
First Zoro has to protect Luffy from Big Mom because he's being dumb. He blitzes Big Mom. This blitzed could have easily been used to attack Big Mom. But instead it was used to save Luffy.
Zoro could get clean devastating hits on Kaido or Big Mom from the beginning, but Oda pushed the brakes with a visible hand by having Zoro hold back for no logical reason at all when he was already comfortable, as shown immediately after, releasing sufficient Haki into Enma.
CHAPTER 1002:
Luffy and others attack Kaido, with it amounting to little. Law shambles Zoro above Kaido and Zoro saves Luffy from Blast breath. Zoro then has a clean path to devastate Kaido(Potentially kill), but Oda, once again interfere's a little more reasonably this time, however the author's hand is still shown. He has Big Mom warn Kaido of Zoro. Thus, Kaido dodge's Zoro's attack. Then Big Mom attacks Zoro as she sees the danger in him. But Zoro tanks it.
CHAPTER 1003:
Luffy then goes crazy with his G4, but it amounts to shit. Now he is useless.
Zoro now has to spend precious time protecting Luffy and playing defense rather than offense, despite his Offense being the most valuable on the roof. He protects Luffy for 10 minutes plus.
A perfect example of how Zoro was hindered is this, Kaido uses Tatsumaki and Zoro uses his own and overpowered Kaido's easily and even deals damage. then Kaido goes for a stronger Tatsumaki, but because Luffy is in danger Zoro has to save Luffy rather than play offense. We know Zoro could overpower that Tatsumaki too, because Killer was able to deflect its blades. And we've already seen Zoro nonchalantly do so.
The real kicker is that if Luffy didn't need to be save, Zoro had a clean opening to "ONCE AGAIN" deal massive damage to Kaido. Zoro and Kaido were literally upclose and personal. You can see in the panel where Zoro saves Luffy, there is an opening to attack Kaido.
In just these chapters Zoro shows he alone has all the skills and defenses to deal with any of the Emperor's attacks solo.
CHAPTER 1008:
We see that Zoro successfully was able to protect Luffy against Hybrid Kaido and Big Mom.
CHAPTER 1009:
We all know this one. Every supernova becomes a hinderance to Zoro in this chapter. And Law is the only one to mildly repay it. Zoro stops Hakai. A combined attack from two emperor's. I won't even get into the specifics.
Zoro has to expend most of his Haki to defend all the supernova. I understand that only Zoro could save them, but still. They didn't even have the audacity to stand together closely, so Zoro can preserve his Haki. Zoro creates the Onigashima size Barrier of Haki to stop Hakai from spilling over and damaging the other supernova. This is most taxing, not only does he use a lot of Haki to protect them, he breaks every bone in his body in the process. Zoro is busy playing defense for the rooftop when he could easily be playing offense, strong strong offense as we see in the following chapter.
Not only does Zoro save them, he even goes further by having to assist them in getting rid of Big Mom. Without Zoro, Big Mom wouldn't even be separated. As seen in the following chapter.
Chapter 1010:
Zoro finally catches a break and is the LAST supernova that is saved by a fellow supernova. In this chapter, Zoro is the only one able to follow through on the plan of removing Big Mom. And hadn't Law interfered, Big Mom would literally be dead, thanks to Zoro. But Law interferes because he fears for Zoro's life (which he shouldn't), thus prometheus saves Big Mom in the nick of time, we see that she is inches from the water. But I still thank Law because he cared for Zoro.
Now Zoro has to go back to work, Luffy is dead weight. So Zoro has to go save him. Kaido goes to kill Luffy, but Zoro calls for his attention. Kaido tries to attack extremely nerfed broken bones Zoro, but nerfed Zoro blitzes Kaido with ease and gives him extreme damage, Kaido even begins to huff. (Kaido not falling isn't important, scabbards knocked out Kaido despite their attack being absolutely trash.)
We see that Oda's hand directly interfered again. Oda only allows Zoro to significantly damage Kaido when Zoro is at his absolute worst state.
As we see from this thread, Zoro has been heavily hindered yet still was the driving force of this fight psychologically and physically. Emperor's only take supernovas seriously after witnessing Zoro, and Zoro drives the defense and offense of the fight against the Emperors.
But anyways Zoro is coming back. The Grandmaster will return. ZKK is inevitable.:cheers::cheers::cheers:
