If Imu takes L in Elbaf, I will drop this series once and for all. I'm tired of plot convenience and author that will downplay anything just for the plot's sake.

For me Rave Master >>>> One Piece and it's not even close right now

Haha, Imu can never be truly FV when Blackbeard exists.
fight is inconclusive, imu has to return to maryjoa because he cannot stay outside for too long.
So he takes the L.

Listen, I would never doubt BB's greatness if the battle against Law after TS had never happened before that BB looked strong. Right now, he is weaker than Akainu. He will never be able to become a real danger to this world. Which is why I'm not interested in watching events that gives you Zero tense.

Imu will take the L, all the signs points to this.

:kayneshrug:
Tension ended the moment Imu couldn't neg Loki and failed to put Zoro and Sanji out of commission.

Now we see Stall Piece for Luffy yet again.

Then another flashback that might give insight about how to send Imu back to Mary Geoise, with Gunko being unfrozen by the Nidhogg's pet and switching sides. May it be the magic circle or something to do with Imu's usage of his vessels.

Nika isn't going to perform worst than Nidhogg, he is the MC after all. Though we might see Fake Tension Piece with Imu overpowering Luffy while monologue-ing like he is doing now.

This could end with:

1. Imu getting sent back to Mary Geoise with the help of Gunko
2. Luffy having a powerup and sends Imu back like Joyboy;s haki did with the Gorosei
3. Imu simply running out of time

There's really no point bringing the Wings back only for them to lose or doing Stall Piece only for Luffy to fail.

If Oda wanted Imu to win and create all real tension for the readers, he would've done it like Sabaody.

?

BB has an infinite amount of potential growth. Haki aside, just Imagine when he gets double Awakening and maybe a third fruit too.

There too: Imu is against a God level (Loki) and Luffy.

Why him "losing" should be something impossible? In fact, I can't see how he could win.

Then you should end manga here. Anything else is stalling. I dropped Rurouni Kenshin, when Final Villain run away from him. For me this story didn't make any sence to continue watching it. And I never returned. So it will be over for me with One Piss

But why?
You want Imu to be ten times stronger than anyone, even outside of Marijoa?

Imu might me the strongest God level, but It's not the only God level (the other 3 gods, Davy Jones likely, Nidghog, the Serpent). Why him not winning now should be a problem?
