August 2010 is the last Time Eichiro Oda took a 1 month break, He came back and The story changed forever Post Timeskip has been nothing like Pre Timeskip. The Writing is night and day .

Do You think The same drastic change will occur after this 1 Month break?

The endgame will hopefully have more planning put into it than whatever the hell happened here in Wano.

But I wouldn't expect any immediate changes.

Not a chance…the story will be more engaging simply because a) we’ll finally be nearing the conclusion of the tale/resolution of two-decade-old dangling plot threads, and b) Wano was so interminably long that anything else will feel fresher by comparison, but Oda’s writing skills are never going to do anything but continue diminishing, that’s just entropy at work.

I dont think the writing changed so much. Its just that he started to develop side characters more, giving them more screentime. Lets see if he will keep doing that after the break. Sadly i think he will. He will start separating the crew and develops side characters as soon as they land on Elbaf/Hachinosu

I mean even if he doesn’t work on one piece while it’s a break, his mind will constantly be running likely planning out the arc so unlike wano where it felt like most of it just had to fall into place and was not exactly planned out the next arc should be better

The dude has so much to do, talking with his animators/manga assistants, with the producers of one piece series 2.0 netflix edition, and with the tons of people that are interested in op and are doing biz with Oda.
Op was better at the start cuz oda had more free time on his own persona without giving attention to thousand others, these times are over, the writing will have the same medium quality, awful pacing with too many unnecessary and bad things in everything that is drawn.
There is no coming back from this consumerism.

Now,i think he will be back will more energy and a clearer mind.Burnout/overwork takes a toll on your intellectual ability.

By the way mangaka usually work on chapters around 3 weeks before they come out,so Oda probably had his break in June and now is back to work on the chapter that will come out (officially) at the end of July.

I'm optimistic things will improve from here. I think he'll plan the arcs to come, get some much-needed rest and pump out quality arcs. I look forward to seeing more of the Marines and other factions that haven't gotten a lot of focus lately.
