I expected for the new world to be luffy v the yonko but it never felt like that. Luffy had to waste his time with punk hazard doflamingo hody jones. The indication of luffys training and all of the strawhats paying off for the new world was not sensical.

Obviously vs Yonkou but with heavy focus on the Yonkou's lore, digging their character and also no PIS, no holds barred regarding their powers, no plot protection for the alliance members

It felt like we wasted so much time. Fishman island was necesary, but it should have been a quick Zou like arc, would have been better. Punk Hazard is a nice arc but a waste. Could have beem woth the involvement of a Yonko crew. Doflamingo was great, but another shichibukai, really? Thats so pre TS. It took us what, 200-300 chapters to get to BM, and now Oda is cutting plot points because he wants to finish quickly

I don't understand the question, what do you mean by the Kingdoms?

The storylines with the focus on kingdoms instead of it being about the strawhat pirates besting the yonko.

Like really did luffy need so much time to waste with doffy?

Things happen not because luffy wants to best the yonko but because there are others to be saved.

Remember when kaido talked about purate games? Yet all luffy does is pirate games. If it was not for his mc luck what he does would not make sense.

I am not saying luffy should become super tactical but the strawhat crew has 0 conviction regarding the yonko.


For example kaido has a poneglyph luffy wants. Luffy could have announced war to kaido and his desire to take that poneglyph. Nothing the strawhat pirates do feels like thwy arw a crew anymore.
