Don't get me wrong, they are good, but admirals never got hurt, yet yonkous get humiliated every chance they get. Laidou with scabbards, big mom kicked down by king and by jimbei, shankas lost his arm to lord of the coast, wb in war.

Nah the Emperors are definitely stronger. An Admiral would be dead if the scabbards ganged up on him. We are are talking about a group with around 4 yc class dudes. Just 1 yc class dude is enough to stalemate and admiral.

Akainu using Haki to counter, that’s not the same case with Kaido. If multiple AcoA users attack an admiral, without him blocking they’d get pierced. You only need basic haki to bypass logia intangibility.

I never claimed he did... All I said is he used haki, which ever forms up to whoever’s headcanon. The only factually thing we know is, logia intangibility can be countered by basic CoA. So Akainu has to be doing something to counter unlike Kaido.

It doesn't matter how strong a character is. When it's time for Oda to start painting them in a negative light, that's what he will start doing for the sake of the story. That's what he does with villains.

The Admirals were (And still are) too far off as the main antagonists for Oda to start giving them that kind of treatment. But rest assured when it's the Admirals time to get taken down, he will start knocking them down a peg as he slowly builds up to their inevitable defeat.

The admirals have been trolled and nerfed by plot too and had it been them who had been the antagonists of the recent arcs you can be sure they would have been treated the same as Kaido and Big Mom.

And if you believe that these moments affect the Yonkos, the admirals or any top tier's power then you have misunderstood a lot of things about One Piece.

First of all, first image doesnt prove anything. Katakuri too was evading Luffy G4 Boundman easily. Is Katakuri stronger than Luffy? No, they are in the same tier but Katakuri surpasses his speed via his Advanced CoO.
Here with Akainu we can say the same and Vista is not even Admiral lvl.
The point is, that scan does not prove anything. And comparing that situation with the one with Kaido makes no sense, totally diferent.

And about the second scan. Is there any scan of Akainu fightning with all of them? No.
There is only the clash with Marco after that scan, and later, we see that he defeated Curiel. But what happened with the rest of commanders after that? Unscatched (no more visible wounds or any burns for example) and they were not even around Akainu's place anymore.
That scan is for epicness and for stopping Akainu who was going for Luffy. They did it and probably some of them remained fightning with him, Curiel at least.
Just after Akainu defeated Curiel, Coby appears and I only see the commander who can set fire on his sword in that area:

And Akainu is not alone btw, he has backup from Navy soldiers behind him.
So like the other, this scan does not prove anything and situations are totally different from the one with Kaido.
