It was his strongest attack sure. But he was weakened to a point which made it even weaker than his Dragon Blaze. A full health Ashura would have done much more to kaido than a near death state zoro.

Funny thing I'm still waiting for a single argument why oda made zoro missing hiryu kaen when kaido is tanking and tanked > 40 attacks.
