Tanking means taking an attack head on with little to no damage. Zoro blocked the attack, so it didn't hit him full force, and the attack damaged him. He didn't "Tank" it.

So by that logic Sanji was unable to tank the attack from Black Maria. If you're think well he didnt use Haki because he didnt want to hurt the ladies; it's quite clear Zoro is not using Haki to prevent himself from taking further damage. So by this logic Sanji could not tank Black Maria's attacks

It will likely be impressive, but if it's a ranged attack aimed at everyone, and he only buys like a second to get out of the way and get's injured in the process, i would not equal it with actually clashing with both Yonko at the same time for example.

Thats not tanking means, tanking means they can take the hit and wont die, actually they can die too and fulfill their role of tank.

Technically, tanking is taking an attack with no damage. Zoro getting injured means he endured the attack and did not tank it.

Regardless, that’s just aruging semantics. Zoro blocking an attack from two Yonko even momentairly is one of the best feats in the entire manga and there isn’t any way to deny it or downplay it.

Only option at this point is to hope the spoilers are fake.
