And they said Zoro doesn't need CoC, and they never said anything about Zoro having CoC, what are you talking about? They were lowballing CoC because they never think Zoro has CoC.

Ray said it. While you can gain control over your CoC, you can't train it. It becomes stronger along with your growth. Shanks is extremely strong and ambitious, his CoC reflects that. Same should be true for Mihawk, who had the ambition to become the strongest. And especially Zoro, who is not only as ambitious in regards to becoming the world's strongest, but to aid Luffy in becoming the PK.

So there isn't a reason to put Shanks' CoC on another level, unless you say his ambition and strength is above everyone else.

Kaido for example is strong but he doesn't have much ambition. He sleeps on his DF.

Nah kaido has ambition to become PK........shanks is a mystery.......he is more of a balancer..........

Lemme tell you when the monster trio were confirmed to all have the power of the king, back on baratie. It was zeff who confirmed it for us when he told sanji about luffy and zoros spear and the fact that sanji is dulling his own spear so he should learn from luffy . Sanji then goes with luffy developing his Coc haki all through the skip. Post time skip whenever luffy used coc, sanji and zoro comment about it but you gotta use your head to even know that they also have the ability . Zoro trained with mihawk who knew luffy had Coc. Mihawk never told zoro about it. Sanji trained with Ivanov who knew luffy had Coc. Iva never told Sanji about it. So sanji goes like I knew it he really has the power of the King. Implying sanji after finding out about coc thought the one person that could have it was luffy . Sanji was tasted to keep his sanity and his manliness on kamambaka kingdom. He came but having kept that, what do you think that means. Then in wano , oda decides to draw a chapter where luffy uses Coc and then he draws sanji in that same chapter in the bathhouse . Go and access that panel and watch luffy using coc and sanji facing drake and Hawkins. Then some chapters later he draws zoro taming enma . Now go and compare all 3 panels. You don't need the author to spell things for you .

You can't necessarily apply pre time skip logic to the post.
Post time skip sanji portrayal has been abysmal.
You guys lost the chance for CoC once Sanji baked big mom a cake as his big feat
Sanji chance of CoC is there but its very slim

and then Kaido goes Thunder Bagua to Law and Zoro-ya

So Kaido see and tank Ashura and call it CoC. Legit confirm for me for Zoro having Adv CoC.
What TaC said could even make sense:
"Yeah. Maybe Zoro just can’t use CoC in the regular way and Luffy can’t use it offensively? Like branching CoC paths"
In that case Luffy will try to unlock his adv CoC while Zoro will push his regular CoC even more so ashura could get even far stronger. In case both gonna have at the end adv CoC.

All the hype for Zoro and Luffy away. Can we say how beastly Kaido is? Tanking Ashura and yet still beat both Zoro and Law with thunder bagua? This dude life up his hype so much,really godly.

Zoro just speed Blitzed hybrid focused Kaido. Zoro is definitely Admiral lvl.

Told so many times Zoro would have in all likelihood managed to land attacks on Hybrid Kaido without absolutely relying minimally on Law. Glad I was proven correct. Wasn't difficult to figure anyway.

So its pretty clear Kaido eat those Ashura and bleeding.
