I know, I took it as a premonition of a kingly clash to come. I think it fits better given the chapter's theme/title rather than it being Zeus imo. But it'll be clearer with pics.
it is nice, that Luffy is going 1 vs 1 against Kaido.
If Kid didn't get the same ability he will not be able to defeat BM. but there are many people who can help against BM if Luffy doesn't need any help
She didn't eat her. Oda literally confirmed in SBS you can't get peoples devil fruit powers by eating them. Linlin is probably possessed by Mother Carmel who is still using her own df from inside linlins body.
Mother Carmel soul + Linlin the freak body = Big Mom
Kid says this is more than enough already, since the goal was just to separate the 2 Yonkou from each other. Kid and Killer then run towards Big Mom's direction, saying that they will take on Big Mom themselves.
This part is interesting as well. I wonder what request Promotheus has, and seeing how they can control the clouds, with Kid's comments about the clouds while on his way to Big Mom, it makes me wonder
It was always going to end up in a 1 vs 1, Luffy vs Kaido.
The only question now is if Zoro (in the chapter that will bear his name) will slay the beast in his dragon form under the eyes of the Flower Capital after his fight with Luffy
