Zoro isn't out yet.
1. He still has to make Enma black (this clearly has to happen in Wano)
2. He has to do something to justify a massive bounty increase (the rooftop is not being streamed to Marine HQ)
3. There are a lot of chapters left, presumably one of which will have a name like "Roronoa Zoro"
Zoro is not fighting King.
1. No interaction between these two characters
2. King was created to fight Marco, given their devil fruits
3. The alliance has more combatants that need a fight (Yamato, Sanji, Scabbards) than there are viable opponents
4. Given his current state, in order to fight a calamity he would need to recover first, but if he recovers it would make more sense that he return to the rooftop
Luffy is not soloing Kaido.
1. Would make him the strongest character in a story that is going to take another 5 years to finish
2. Would make dozens of characters (Worst-Gen, admirals, Sanji...) borderline irrelevant
3. The power scaling implications of such a scenario are nonsensical, even for Oda (who has acknowledged this himself)

Well, WG were referring to both BM and Kaido so they're talking about attacks during the off-panel fight. And they weren't depressed about how Kaido is quickly getting back up after getting hit. They were literally saying none of their attacks are actually working while most of their attacks are working on Dragon Kaido with Kaido's own admission. Luffy baselessly assumed there is no way their attacks aren't working because he feels they're just as human as he is; even if Luffy's assumption wasn't wrong, it still stands true that Hybrid Kaido is taking their hits better that it is giving them the impression their attacks aren't working at all.
We even saw it on panel actually, Dragon Kaido was screaming like a lil bitch from simple cuts and almost fell on the ground from Tatsumaki while even Asura couldn't make him fall. He shrugged off a stab through his neck like nothing when even simple attacks were making him vulnerable to the upcoming attacks in Dragon form. I am not sure if it's because he has better durability but Kaido is withstanding attacks much better in hybrid form.

Your missing the context.
Law was going to send the scabbards below to the room but luffy told him to do it right before he was.
Why else do you think the scabbards got sent to a specific room?
Law won’t take luffys orders or leave the roof.
Next chapter he will send zoro down but stay on the roof

The 2 situation are kind alike.
1 hit one shot Killer - we see a strange hacky coming from the swords - we assume was some kind of hardening but I am not so sure now.
