So I assume you're accepting the possibility she might end up being stronger than your boy Zoro?
Naturally, I accept that possibility. Though I'm the wrong Zoro fan to ask this question to. Yamato's my clear #2, so I wouldn't be sad if she reveals herself to be stronger than Chapter 1000 Zoro (I'd be really happy actually).
I think that no matter how strong Yamato shows herself to be when she fights Kaido, Luffy (and Zoro if he fights Kaido again) would later outperform her.
It has always been the Strawhats who defeated the arc antagonists, and I expect Luffy to eventually overcome Kaido in a 1 vs 1, and for Zoro to kill Kaido.
My best case scenario is:
Yamato manages to push Kaido further than Luffy did in 1010, and we see Kaido using his Awakening to defeat her.
Luffy faces Kaido again with new power ups and wins.
Kaido later recovers and tries to destroy the Flower Capital in Dragon Form (e.g. with a massive Boro Breath).
Zoro cuts the Boro Breath and beheads Kaido with Hiryuu Kaen.
I don't actually expect Yamato to push Kaido to Awakening by herself — I want it, but I wouldn't bet on it — I think there are good chances Yamato pushes Kaido to Hybrid by herself. I think this is another reason Kaido reverted to Base. When his fight with Yamato starts he'll be in Base, and Yamato is going to have to push him to Hybrid.
If Yamato stops to fight Jack or someone else before facing Kaido, then I would significantly lower my expectations of her.
@Cinera Id like an answer to this as well. Are you suggesting that Yamato is going to perform better than Zoro?
Yamato performing better than Chapter 1000 - 1010 Zoro is something I think is possible — and actually hope for — but it's not something I consider likely enough to bet on.
