Forget dick riding your fav and only talk about that trio. Ever since Robin people says Oda will make a M4 or something. Now even Jinbe isn't in the mix and the closest might be Yamato soon.

But my question is... Why do people have a problem with these 3 standing above all others until the end?

People hate Sanji and like bashing him.

Admittingly, his feats have been lackluster compared to the other SH's recently, but I'm sure that will change soon.

Jinbe and Yamato are basically Franky, but closer to the Monster Trio. I wouldn't be surprised if Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Jinbe and Yamato get grouped together as the "Monster Quintet" but the Monster Trio will always be the three strongest.

Because people don't want Sanji to be part of Monster Trio along with Luffy and Zoro because so called "He's just a cook, he's weak, etc." And then their headcanons broke as usual when One Piece Volume 100 cover pages featuring Luffy, Zoro and Sanji in the same page.

Sanji rent free on their monkey brains. Any potential strong members joining, they always have the X > Sanji agenda set up, first it was Robin, Franky, Brook, Jinbei, Carrot and now it's Yamato. Hell, even if Dragon or Akainu joins the Strawhat, they ain't gonna be stronger than Sanji.

Simple. Both Yamato and Jinbei have better feats than Luffy. Zoro has no problem with that as he remains as strongest mugiwara(it is easy when you are WSS right?)

Sanji feats wise. He has been left extensively behind that wise, so I seriously doubt he will prove good enough to even come close the two SH behemoths expecially considering his overall generall portrayal.

M3 can easily be M4, if oda wants yamato can be > sanji if thats the direction oda wants to go..........Its not breaking M3 but creating M4 imo...

Jimbei is definitely Luffy's third strongest member. While Zoro and Sanji were side-by-side with Luffy, he had his back. He accompanied Luffy alongside Sanji to the rooftop and was detoured by a Tobi Roppo.

They are the supernova captain trio. Little to nothing to do with power scaling. The monster trio on the other hand is only about the top 3 strongest in the crew. Also, the 3 don't need to be equal in strength. Luffy is stronger than Zoro and Zoro is much stronger than Sanji. But it's the monster trio as they're the top 3. Also, you think Oda will do random placements in volume 100? lol. An L yet again.

Aside from just trolling i doubt the m3 will ever change Sanji will have his shine and first high to extreme diff fight in a long time taking down Queen which should clear all doubts. We will see Oda can't keep dragging it out any longer the final matchups should be made clear very soon
