Luffy Pre Marineford was jus a adventure kid that wanted to obtain One Piece and becoming a Pirate King.Oda could go simple way without this shitty ChosEN One trope like others shonens.
Yet again Luffy started hearing others animals from void countty and now together with Momo are destined to bring some destined Dawn or other shit to the world.

1) Wrong. Luffy was already shown he was hot shit post enies lobby....since the beginning he was made parallels with Roger....he was definitely not chosen one.....that was even clear in this chapter from Kaido saying "you too....."
2) Luffy hearing is same as Oden/Roger parallel again.....this was clearly shown preskip also.....Luffy is not "actively" changing the world....whatever "changes" happens are just "consequential" of Luffy actions...for example, he wanted to beat doflamingo just for simple reason that Rebecca feed him lunch and yet doflamingo defeat led to the downfall of warlords system....he is still the same adventurous kid....it is not as if Luffy getting indra/ashura kind of powerup.....I will say it again...Luffy is not joyboy reincarnation, Luffy will just "inherit" his "will" though not for world saving or whatever reasons.....

Yeah I can hear that, but Marco has been a top pirate for 20 y +, made war in the Marine turf, and led the WB remnants for a year. I wouldnt be shocked if he had a 1.6 or 1.7b
