It worked out based on pure luck (i.e. plot), not because of her own ability to achieve her desired goal.

Had she drowned (like devil fruit users are supposed to do) or had Kaido decided “Nah, let’s kill this hideous hag while she is chained is seastone.” which considering this is the man who boiled Oden alive, was not outside the realm of possibility then Linlin was extremely lucky.
Luck is a skill :kayneshrug:

“Getting along” does not equal “Forge an alliance”. If anything it sounds more similar to a non-aggression pact.

Said individuals with no actual skill whatsoever.
Of course not, but it means she doesn't want to fight against Kaido.

Kaido was also so scared of Big Mom when she first arrived in Wano. Kaido was sweating hard :pepedoffy:(y)

Now the goal posts are starting to move.

“Not wanting to fight someone” does not equal “Let’s make an alliance”. Regardless, Kaido initially refused.

Since we are now in agreement that Linlin never set out with the intention of creating an alliance, we can indeed confirm that she has in fact, not achieved any goals but simply fell into a favorable situation due to Kaido’s generosity.

In short, Linlin has achieved nothing.

Lin Lin achieved a lot. She now has a big dragon as an ally :myman:

An “achievement” is something that one accomplishes due to their own efforts and merit.

So due to Linlin only surviving due to sheer luck (plot) and Kaido’s generosity then it is not an achievement.
What makes you think Kaido could even kill her?
Tell me, apart from plot, what was stopping Kaido from dumping her bound up arse into the ocean?
