Doesn’t matter, it’s pretty obvious that the ability will be expanded upon anyway because he’s having a fight against Big Mom right now that seems like it will revolve heavily around Devil Fruit powers. Even without this SBS I knew that this would be the fight where his powers are explained in more detail and used in different ways.

Also didn’t Oda basically say something like, “I’ll have to write something about it.”? Sounds to me like that means his power will get a good explanation soon.

Oda already gave us the details of how his DF works: "he can manipulate things like iron with ease using magnetism"

Sure he can come up with creative ways to use this power vs Big Mom but don't expect much of an explanation, Oda doesn't even explain things like haki properly lol.
