Zoro learned barrier haki against Mr. 1 and maybe even CoO based off the information given to us in a Databook. Regardless he learned to cut steel during battle.

Zoro learned flying sword Slash in battle. Then learned how to perform it with all three swords or his 3 sword style.

Zoro obtained asura mode in battle and created a new attack.

Zoro has now been shown his limit which gives him the opportunity to grow stronger during battle, which he will.

Sorry but i literally do not see how providers are assuming the fight is over. It "ended" exactly how Jinbe's ended: an attack on the F6 member followed by a transition that does NOT show the actual victory.

Seriously, go back to every single fight ever in this series. Fights always end with dramatic exposition and dialogue. This literally has nothing like that.


Edit: see how it uses transition lines from Franky's face? It's a way to signify Oda cutting that scene short. There is more to it coming.

you think Sasaki will be just fine he git burned with Laser in the belly that much so his back exploded. the same laser that melts iron doors no way he will be able to stand and fight again like nothing happened in case of WsW that might be possible but not in case of Sasaki

Even Jinbe snuck a one liner at the end of his fight and and actually ended the chapter with his finisher.
This panel literally feels like a cutaway, like when Franky cut him with his sword in an earlier chapter.

You guys always have some excuse as to why it doesn't "feel" like a defeat, even it's literally announced.

This chapter just proved that Zoro is on another level. Look at Yamato pairing against Kaidou's attack vs nerfed Zoro pairing against Kaidou attack. Zoro beat Kaidou in their clash and left a permanent scar on Kaidou's STRONGEST form while nerfed. It was thanks to his df and Zoro being nerfed that he still alive.

He doesn't need BS armor. His Sensei told him back during dojo training the pinnacle swordmanship is the ability to cut what the user wants to cut. He's working towards that. Just because Zoro can't do it right now doesn't mean he won't learn. You should understand that by now.
