Depends how the fight goes. It's probably good for him and I've been looking forward to it. Fighting Kaido's strongest subordinate is important for Zoro as helping Luffy progress is what he wants, plus King's a strong swordsman. They don't have to be near-equal for the fight to be significant.
If King have bounty at least higher than Marco, if King have advance armament and or at least CoC. Then it's really good for Zoro. Learning advance CoC to beat King.
If King have none of the above, is just wasting time.

Good
It will definitely established Luffy's crew as a Younko crew level
Bad for people who thinks he's too strong for Yc1 but they can't read so that's fine

Zoro already fought Kaido and BM and we saw the events that happened on the rooftop so I pose this question. Now going back down and fighting King will this fight be good or bad for Zoro?
But I won't deny watching Zoro smack a YC1 around will be endlessly amusing. The amount of salt his haters will produce thanks to this alone is already enough to make me chuckle.
- Learning better CoO to evade King's attacks.
- Improve his speed to keep up with King.
- Mastering CoC coating/CoC clash.
- Good swordsmanship fight.
- Potentially making a black blade.
If one of those requirements will meet in this fight then it will be good. However, people tend to have higher expectations for Zoro so the fight might look bad for some people.
it is very good he can train his new powers against a worthy opponent neither weak(like the F6)nor too strong (Kaido). he might give Zoro a hard time but he can never overpower him.
