Zoro is way more likely to die or be a wandering swordsman like Mihawk come EoS regardless of his lineage.
Oda is pretty consistent with character writting at least, specially for the main protagonists. Zoro is not and will never be a politician, he won't abandom his dream to be a Daimyo, even if Momo and the entirety of Wano beg him to be one by the end of this arc.
