Well, there can be two same abilities, but I don't see a lot of complete roles being duplicated. But for TOS I guess there is a set list of roles and abilities where Mafia you can combine different abilities. Like I obviously know there can be two Invests in a game, but we usually don't just see two Cops and only Cops in Mafia.

Just because it's not common, doesn't mean it's impossible. I've played in several games that have features multiple Cops, multiple Vigs, multiple Millers... and so on. Hosted a few, too.

I mean, I've no idea if ToS allows for it (well, I do now, because it has been confirmed that it allows it). ToS tends to be stricter than Mafia in terms of what is and isn't allowed.

I think he's scum, yes. I consider both Jester and Exe scum too, but I don't see why he has to be one of those two either. What I'm confident in, is that he's not town. What flavour of scum he ends up being, I can only guess.
