Except it wasn't 1 second. The only translation which says this is the english one. In the german one it is only said ''you managed to block it even if it was just for a short period of time, Thanks!''. Which makes muuuch more sense than 1 second. Zoro had a full blown conversation and the other 4 had time to react to what zoro did. All that happened in 1 second? We are not in dragonball super where everyone is moving, talking, pissing, laughing faster than the speed of light omegalul.

No if Law even saved Zoro at all he would only have done so after Zoro tanked most of that attack then redirected the rest upwards
