What's excited to freaking out and saying you've done enough this wound will remain. The fact is zoro accidentally used something luffy knew how to do and in one attack did more damage than luffy did with a broken body. Same for yamato

He was surprised Zoro could use CoC, dont exagerrate it to freaking out.

He praised Zoro for the thing he did and then proceeded to mop him with Law.

For Luffy, he got over eager when he saw someone that could do the stuff he does (ACoC) and got a bit too excited and mopped him.

Which means he got more serious with Luffy.

Being serious doesnt mean he was at full power but he was more serious than he was against the SNs atleast, or atleast pre him mopping everyone in Hybrid.
