orochi is saved by kurozumi semimaru and his barrier fruit

they tell him because orochi was an acting shogun appointed by the woman pretending to be the late sukiyaki and the other retainers firmly believe it the title cant be reverted to oden

the low waged towns people were celebrating thinking that with oden back he would chase away kaido and orochi but as they were celebrating two lost their eyesight from some poison arrows shot from somewhere.

after that oden comes out naked dancing while kaido and orochi's men laugh to the disappointment of the townspeople

his retainers wonder if he is hiding something but oden just says he's working while they are running out of patience for the whole thing.

a year later oden receives a newspaper from orochi about roger's execution and the great pirate age starting he laughs and cries.

another year after that the war between the gecko pirates vs the beasts pirates starts simultaneously blade god ryuma's grave is defiled. once again oden continues to dance as there are still a very few number of people/retainers who believed in him

and then 5 years have passed since oden's return on top of breaking his promise of setting hyogoro free and giving him a ship. 16 people including hygoro's wife and underlings were killed for rebelling.

finally oden has had enough and he decides to get his red scabbards to taken down kaido

okay he is not imprisoned wtf.
