No matter how much BM powerups, she will remain inferior to Kaido.

Kaido is the main villain of this arc, not BM.
So the best version of Kaido will be still stronger than the best version of BM, that's something that is pretty much given
That's the narrative perspective. And I don't know whether a pure powerscaler would be able to grasp it.

Which in a sense tell us that the difference between the two it's not huge but not even marginal.

Niji can use his abilities outside of the suit, so that may be possible for Sanji now. His changes appear to be finished (minus the hair), but we won't know until the next chapter. It is a bit weird for Queen to lose sight of him that near, though.
But i think Sanji will lose his effects. I dont think Sanji will remain with his eyebrow changed. But invisibility will be cool if that happened.

the best version of kaido isn't hybrid tho, I'm 90% sure he has awakening up his sleeve

If Hybrid kaido is on par with base Luffy, then obviously kaido's going to need a power up to fight on par with boundman
